Forth cancer patient hits out at landlord
Now 60-year-old Mary Wilson, of 8 Merlindale, is bitter that they are holding her to a ‘contract’ she signed three years ago in which she promised she would not seek extra help from them if her state of health worsened.
“I don’t have a crystal ball; I didn’t know when I signed the mandate for my new tenancy that I’d get cancer,” she said.

Hide AdA spokesman for Melville Housing Association told the Gazette they were “sympathetic” to Mary’s plight and would be “reviewing” the decision.
