Shilam is a somewhat exotic mixture of Utonagan and German Shepherd, and is as friendly as they come– but is currently waiting forlornly for a new home at the SPCA’s Lanarkshire rescue and rehoming centre.
Centre manager Peter Fleming said: “He knows basic commands such as sit, paw and wait, and we’re sure there’s a lot more we’ve yet to see.
“Shilam loves his walks and adores his cuddles – he can’t wait for his two-legged friends to greet him in the morning.
“We feel he would be best suited to a home with no small pets or cats, although a canine friend may be fine depending on how well they get on.”
If you think you could be the one to offer Shilam a good, loving home you can find out more by calling the centre onv 03000 999 999.
