Girl runs into car
A CHILD was involved in a traffic accident near Greenfaulds High School yesterday (Thursday, March 8).
A police spokesperson said that, rather than use the nearby footbridge a 12-year-old girl ran onto the road and collided with the side of a moving car.
Both the driver and the girl were taken to Monklands Hospital, but it is understood that neither sustained serious injury.
