Help at hand forvisually impaired

A CHARITY for visually impaired people is set to hold an information event in Cumbernauld.

Visibility has announced that the event will be held in the New Town Hall on Tuesday, March 8 from 10am-1pm.

On offer will be information, advice and equipment demonstrations to visually impaired people, as well as their families and friends.

A spokesman for Visibility said: “These events will give an opportunity for attendees to see a range of services and equipment from a variety of agencies and to learn more about what is available to people with a visual impairment.”

Visibility is funded by the Big Lottery and is one of the oldest charities for visually impaired people in Scotland, having been in operation for more than 150 years.
