HERO COP SAVES BABY’S LIFE

A QUICK-THINKING cop saved an eight-month old baby girl’s life after administering first aid to stop her from choking to death.

Police Constable Lyle McAuley, of Cumbernauld Police Office, was dealing with an unrelated incident on Millcroft Road in Cumbernauld’s South Carbrain on Saturday afternoon.

A group of people spilled out from a common close area onto the street, and amongst them was a frantic mother who was concerned about her baby who appeared to be choking on an unidentified object.
