Holy Cross pupils give the gift of sight

KIND-hearted pupils at Holy Cross Primary and Nursery School in Croy have been collecting undamaged spectacles for a worthy cause.

The youngsters are working with the charity Vision Call as part of their ongoing eco work.

They charity collects and recycle undamaged spectacles which will taken to Punjab, India, in May.

These spectacles will give people in this developing country the ‘Right to Sight’.

The pupils will also see the real benefits of recycling for a very worthy cause which can benefit others.Any undamaged spectacles can be handed into the school, nursery or Holy Cross Church.
