Housing services at North Lanarkshire Council are on the way up

NORTH Lanarkshire Council has made improvements within its housing service according to an annual performance report.

The local authority says it is re-letting properties quicker; more of its housing stock is meeting the Scottish Housing Quality Standard and they are collecting more rent than before.

Councillor Sam Love, convener of housing and social work services, said: “We’re committed to delivering first class housing services that are value for money and we’re pleased with the continuing improvement we’re making.
