LET’S GO SUMMER is a packed programme of summer holiday activities for children, young people and families - from arts and crafts to reading, music, acting and cinema, there is something for everyone!

Visit a North Lanarkshire library to celebrate 100 years of the world’s favourite storyteller, Roald Dahl, some activities will have a Roald Dahl theme including arts and crafts inspired by some of his favourite creations including Fantastic Mr Fox, James and the Giant Peach and The BFG.

Get involved in dance and drama at the multi-arts boot camp or see a summer blockbuster at the Airdrie Town Hall cinema.

Step back in time to experience hands-on history by making a medieval hat, live like a Roman or join a Victorian Boot Camp.

There will also be Summer Bookbug, science shows for all the family, and even a pop-up planetarium to take a trip through the universe!
