Julie told us: “The film was shot over two days in Glasgow and is a stalker story with a bit of a twist. Persona gave me a budget to direct and produce the film and I managed to get together a really talented cast. I was absolutely delighted to be given the chance to reach such a huge audience with my work.”

The film maker has also had some recent critical acclaim for her short film ‘Behind the Screens’ which was featured on the bill at the Short Cuts Film Festival held at the National Film and Televsion School in London.

The film is now scheduled to be screened at the Thurrock International Film Festival where it has been nominated for two awards including Best Student Film.

Julie is now working on a number of projects including the possibility of a pilot for Scottish Television. A biography and a selection of her work is available at www.wix.com/jddunn1/2011.

We hope to be speaking to Julie in the coming years to talk about her Oscar success. You heard it here first folks!
