Kilsyth Academy announce new captaincy team

KILSYTH Academy has selected its new captaincy team for the new school term.

Rory Holmes has taken up the position of school captain and he will be supported by vice captains Jamie Gallagher, Andrew Airlie, Amanda Baird and Amber Livingstone.

Kilsyth Academy headteacher Gillian Caldwell said: “The contenders all made impressive presentations to their peers, as they tried to find out the views of younger pupils of what they might do or would like to see if they became school captain.

“They also performed well in interviews with members of the senior management team and we now look forward to working with this fine group of pupils in the session ahead as they carry through their responsibility in organising activities for younger pupils.”
