"It'll be great to get all of the community groups working together and I'm sure we'll make it a Christmas to remember for the town."

A number of activities will take place on Main Street with marquees set-up to ensure the Christmas spirit is not dampened, no matter the weather. The White House will also be open.

There will be arts and crafts, story telling and singing before a candle light procession down Main Street and over to Burngreen Park.

A carol concert will then take place at the bandstand and the Old Library will be open, with mulled wine, mince pies and other festive goodies being served.
