A plasma TV was stolen from a Kilsyth car wash.

It is believed the plasma TV was stolen sometime between 5pm on Saturday, April 6, and 8am the next morning.

Two light bars worth around £1500 were stolen from a transport company in Kilsyth. The incident happened at the company on Garrell Road between 6.30pm on Saturday, April 6, and 5.30am the next day.

Thieves attempted to break into a Kilsyth retailer sometime between 5pm on Saturday, April 6, and 8.30am the next day. The Cash for Clothes premises on Stirling Road was targeted by thieves who attempted to force entry through the front door causing damage. Nothing was stolen. If you are a witness to any of the crimes listed above, you are are urged to contact Cumbernauld Police Office on 01236 503900.

Meanwhile, a 24-year-old man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal after allegedly being found in possession of a quantity of Class A drugs in Main Street, Kilsyth, on the evening of Sunday, April 7.
