Thieves made off with a SABB car after breaking into a Cumbernauld home and snatching the keys. The break-in happened at around 4.40am on Sunday, May 19, while the owner was asleep. Thieves smashed a window to gain entry.

Tools valued at around £500 were stolen from a garden shed in Grampian Way, Cumbernauld sometime between 7pm on Friday, May 17, and 7am the next day.

Sweet toothed crooks stole cakes and other confectionary from Dobbies in Cumbernauld.

The retailer was targeted overnight on Wednesday, May 15.

Thieves stole booze from a Kilsyth shop sometime between 6pm on Thursday, May 16, and 4.45am the following day. Police say the crooks damaged the roof of the premises and forced entry.

A black Mercedes was stolen after thieves took the keys from a Condorrat home first. The incident happened at around 3.30am on Wednesday, May 15. Police say the householder heard glass being smashed and when they got up from their beds, they saw the car being driven off. A glass panel on the front door was smashed to gain entry.
