Latest from police - two arrested over drug claims

TWO people have been arrested for allegedly having drugs in their possession.

A 29-year-old man has been reported to the procurator fiscal after he was allegedly found in possession of Class A drugs.

The man was arrested on Blackwoods Crescent in Moodiesburn on Friday, November 23, at around 9pm

A 38-year-old man has been reported to the procurator fiscal after he was allegedly found in possession of a small quantity of Class B and Class C drugs.

The man was arrested on East Burnside Street, Kilsyth at around midnight on Sunday, November 25.

Meanwhile, diesel was stolen from an insecure site in Kilsyth sometime between 6pm on Friday, November 23, and 5am on Monday, November 26.

Around 250 litres of diesel was taken from the site on Stirling Road.
