The match will raise funds for children’s charity CHAS and will take place at Airdrie Football Stadium at the end of this month.

Roughy said: “This is going to be a fun filled day and it’s an excellent opportunity to support an amazing charity and have a great laugh. We’ve got two teams made up of football fans and legends, such as Frank McAvennie, Gordon Durie, Andy Walker, and Tom Boyd, among others.

“We held a match last year and it was an excellent atmosphere but the main thing is getting people along to support the work of CHAS.”

The game will take place on Sunday, May 29 and tickets can bebought from Real Radio on 0141 781 1011, costing £10 for a family of four, £5 adults and £3 children.

Roughy added: “It’s only £10 for a family ticket, and that’s going to get you two games of football.

“You genuinely can’t beat that, but it if it’s not enough, the Real Radio Renegade will also be there giving supporters the chance to win a holiday so get yourself involved.”
