Living Landscape

The Scottish Wildlife Trust’s, local initiative Cumbernauld Living Landscape is teaming up with I Am Bikes and the Friends of Cumbernauld Glen to host an ambitious community event.

The Go Wild in Cumbernauld Glen event will be held at the Glen Mile Mountain Bike Trail, Cumbernauld Glen Wildlife Reserve on Sunday, June 8 from 12pm to 4pm. Activities will include a guided walk, cycling challenges, badge making and planting wildflowers.Cumbernauld Living Landscapes Community Engagement Officer Tracy Lambert said “This is a fantastic opportunity for the Cumbernauld Community to spend some quality family time together, enjoy the outdoors, get fit and have a lot of fun.

It also highlights the fantastic mountain bike Trail that we have in the glen which ensures the safety of some of the more sensitive areas of ancient woodland here in Cumbernauld Glen.” The event is free but there will be a charge for refreshments.
