Main Street lights on

COMPLAINTS were made about an ongoing problem with lighting in Kilsyth Main Street at last week’s meeting of the community council.

The issue was raised by members of the community council and the public.

North Lanarkshire Council confirmed that they sent a lighting engineer into the Main Street last Thursday and the lights were working.The local authority also confirmed they will monitor the situation.

A spokeswoman added that the council ask for the public’s help in reporting any lighting faults.
