MSP calls for new community hospital in Cubmernauld
fresh calls have been made for a community hospital to serve Cumbernauld and Kilsyth but NHS Lanarkshire say it is not a priority for the health board.
Cumbernauld and Kilsyth MSP Jamie Hepburn has written again to acting chief executive of NHS Lanarkshire Ian Ross to ask for a hospital in the area.
The SNP politician held a survey earlier this year which revealed 92 per cent of people from across the area agreed that there should be a community hospital.
