Mum Isobel is a cut above the rest
A SUPPORTIVE mum-of-five shaved off her hair to help raise money for her daughter to go to Malawi.
Brave Isobel McCann (47), of Blackwood, took the plunge and gave hairdresser David Jackson in Cumbernauld Village the go-ahead to get rid of all of her locks. Her daughter Olivia (16) is one of 10 pupils at St Maurice’s High who will be travelling to Malawi with aid on June 5.
She will spend 18 days out there, and she is on a mission with her fellow travellers to raise as much money as possible which will enable them to go.
