Kilsyth Community Health Centre is now officially open following a ceremony at the complex, conducted by MSP Jamie Hepburn.

Mr Hepburn unveiled a plaque in his capacity as Minister for Sport, Health Improvement and Mental Health, accompanied by NHS Lanarkshire’s Chairwoman Neena Mahal

The new £7.8 million Kilsyth Community Health Centre brings together a range of primary care and other community-based services, under one roof housed in over 2,157 square metres of floor space over two levels.

Health services include a GP practice, dental, podiatry; psychological therapies, physiotherapy and speech and language therapy.

The long awaited centre replaced the decades-old facility in Kilsyth’s Burngreen.
