OAPs in Kilsyth enjoy a taste of the Bard
KILSYTH Senior Citizens held a late celebration in honour of Scotland’s national bard last week.
The group had their Burns supper on Wednesday, February 13, and a total of 60 members were in attendance.
Margaret Weldon, Elizabeth Burns and president Anne Miller sang at the event whilst Jim McArthur did the address to the haggis.
President Anne Miller said: “Everything went swimmingly and a great time was had by everyone who attended.”
