Stephen lands a right Royal job

THE Royal Bank of Scotland has strengthened its support for small businesses in Cumbernauld with the appointment of a new business manager, Stephen Land.

The bank states that Stephen’s appointment demonstrates further their ongoing commitment to ensuring that the local business community will benefit from the highest standards in financial services.

Stephen has had a 25-year-long career in banking and before joining RBS in 2008, he specialised in supporting businesses in the SME sector. Stephen began his career with RBS as a business manager in Coatbridge, bringing with him a wealth of banking skills and experience to local businesses. “As a local resident the success of the area is of particular importance to me.”

Alan Smart, director, RBS Business Banking in Central Scotland said: “These continue to be uncertain times for many businesses and as such it is more important than ever that our people understand and have a good knowledge of the environment in which our clients are operating.
