Parking ‘an accident waiting to happen’
A LOCAL campaign group is demanding that a car park near Cumbernauld House be constructed.
The former hunting lodge was redeveloped into luxury apartments, but Friends of Cumbernauld House Park say additional planning conditions are not being fulfilled.
The group claims that planning permission stated that a new public car park had to be built near the property, but there is no evidence of progress with this. Friends of Cumbernauld House Park have repeatedly contacted North Lanarkshire Council about their concerns.
