Cumbernauld cadets form royal honour guard

A group of six Cumbernauld air cadets attending a top air tattoo event down south were thrilled to be asked to form a guard of honour for His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein of Jordan and Chief of the Air Staff Sir Andrew Poulter.

The cadets were helping the charity organisation Flying Scholarships for Disabled People at the show, staged in Gloucestershire.

The local squadron meets on Monday and Thursday evenings at 7.30pm at the cadet centre in Glencryan Road.
