Katy said: “I’d never really been interested in pageants before, but decided to give it a go. I picked Miss Scotland as it’s more than just a beauty pageant, you have to work hard to support good causes as well. I’m amazed I made it to the final!”

Miss Scotland hopefuls are encouraged to fundraise for charities and Katy selected McMillan Cancer Support. She has already raised hundreds of pounds by competing in Tough Mudder and on August 14 will climb Ben Nevis in the hopes of boosting that total even higher.
