Calls to the advice line will be answered by a dedicated team, including special phsyiotherapist Lynn Davidson, pictured, who will provide a telephone consultation. The caller will then be advised on the best way to manage their problem.

Senga added: "This new service offers individualised self care advice and education to enable callers to manage their condition safely.

"The advice line will provide people living in Lanarkshire with speedy access to specialist physiotherapy advice for those with musculoskeletal problems."
