A spokesman said: ‘‘Feedback from the children is that they are enjoying the variety of equipment, activities and outings on offer. Parents go off to work with the peace of mind that their children are having a fantastic, fun experience.’’

In addition to full day care the Y has a number of other programmes running during summer for children and young people. Coming soon is our Hawaiian Hulazone on Saturday, August 10, and a Family Carnival Day on Saturday, August 24. Your child can join in the fun every Wednesday between 1pm and 3pm for our free Family Fun Day which includes some of the activities above. Visit www.cumbernauldy.org.uk
