Pokemon fan Finlay’s our latest pizza party winner

YOUNG Finlay Gordon’s drawing skills have helped him to land a tasty competition win.

For eight-year-old Finlay’s pizza design - in the shape of Pokemon character Pikachu - emerged as the winner of our latest Pizza Party competition in association with our pals at Cumbernauld’s Pizza Hut.

It means Finlay can invite up to nine of his pals to their own party, where they can try their hand at making their own pizzas.

When we called with the good news, mum Marian said: “That’s just made his holidays - he’s doing somersaults!” Medical secretary Marian added: “He’ll probably ask the boys in the football team he plays for, Seafar Villa 2003.”

Finlay stays at Bluebell Walk in Cumbernauld Village, with mum Marian, police officer dad Patrick and baby sister Cara – all of four months old. Finlay’s winning design featured olives for Pikachu’s eyes, pepperoni for his cheeks, and garlic bread ears.
