Police in hunt for Cumbernauld sex attacker
A 15-year-old schoolgirl was the victim of a serious sex assault which is alleged to have taken place on Saturday, October 11.
Detectives and forensic officers have flocked to the Broomlands Road area of Carbrain, following the alleged incident which is said to have taken place shortly before midnight.
Locals noticed a flurry of police activity the following day, as rumour of an attack spread around this close-knit part of town.
