Police probe car break-ins

POLICE are probing a spate of early-morning car break-ins.

A number of vehicles were targeted in Kildrum and North Carbrain in the early hours of the morning.

The first occurred between 3.30am and 9am, when a Citroen C2 was targeted in Mossgeil Road and a Sat Nav was stolen.

At around 5.30am a Vauxhall Astra was broken into in Glenhove Road.

Three boys, around 16-years-of-age, were seen making off empty handed from the vehicle.

One was wearing a red and black tracksuit and the others were in blue clothing.

Shortly afterwards, between 6am and 6.30am, a camera was stolen from a Kia Majentis in Maclehose Road.

Three teenage boys were seen running away from the car. All are described as being approximately 15 years of age.

One was wearing a light blue Henley jacket, another was wearing a grey tracksuit top and bottoms, and the third was wearing a yellow and red Berghaus jacket.
