Labour’s leader hopefuls in town
To be staged at the Burngreen Hall, a venue well known for its boxing matches, the evening session will see main contenders Jim Murphy MP, Neil Findlay MSP and Sarah Boyack MSP putting their case for leadership straight to local Labour Party members.
Also present at this unique local political event will be deputy leadership contenders Katy Clark MP and Kezia Dugdale.

Hide AdLabour has recently been trying to ensure maximum participation in the contest to replace former leader Johann Lamont by offering a special reduced rate inducement to join Labour before December 1.
Anyone who is a member and aged over 14 can vote.
The candidates will be making their pitch to Kilsyth residents in what may become a key battleground in the forthcoming General Election next year.
