Pupils raise charity cash

Kind-hearted pupils at
Abronhill’s Whitelees Primary School have raised money for the Little Princesses Trust.

The pupils in the P7 Blazers Group decided to hold a cancer awareness assembly and a princes and princesses dress up day to raise funds for the worthwhile charity which creates wigs for children who suffer hair loss because of cancer treatment.

They learned about the charity through headteacher Bernadette Hunter whose daughter Imogen cut off her long locks for the cause.

A sum of £371 was raised by the school which was added to the around £1,500 in total raised by Imogen.
