Quad and trailer nicked from business - latest from Cumbernauld Police

Police say a dark coloured Peugeot drove into the area and two suspects left the car.

They forced entry through a secure fence before towing off with the Outlander quad and a trailer.

A 30 year old man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal after allegedly being found in possession of a quantity of Class A drugs.

The man was arrested just after 9pm on Saturday, July 20 in the Pine Grove area of Cumbernauld.

A 21 year old woman has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal after allegedly being found in possession of a large quantity of Class B drugs.

The drugs were discovered after police attended at a house in the Millcroft area of Cumbernauld on the morning of Friday, July 19.

Vandals smashed a window at the Red Cross building in Glenhove Road, Cumbernauld. The incident happened on the evening of Sunday, July 21.

A 35 year old man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal after he allegedly purchased alcohol for a young person from a store in Main Street, Cumbernauld.

Police were on mobile patrol at around 3pm on Saturday, July 20, when they came across the incident.

A Renault kangoo van was broken into sometime between 12.45am and 11am on Saturday, July 20.

Several items were stolen including a set of speakers, a mixing desk, and leads and a guitar from the van which was parked on Tomtain Brae, Cumbernauld.

A 51 year old man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal after allegedly being found in possession of a quantity of Class A drugs in Main Road, Cumbernauld.

The man was arrested just after 3am on Saturday, July 20.

A 19 year old man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal after allegedly being found in possession of a quantity of Class B drugs at the Tak Ma Doon Road, Kilsyth. The man was arrested on Saturday July 20.
