Road closures alert

The closure, between the junction with Livingstone Park and 140 metres north of the junction with Kingsway, will take place between 9 am and 6 pm from Monday, November 7, to Friday, November 11, to allow re-surfacing work to be carried out.

Vehicles on the east side of the closure wishing to travel to the west side should continue south on Kingsway, then west on A803 Parkfoot Street and A803 Glasgow Road, north on Balmalloch Road and then east on Livingstone Park.

Those wishing to travel from west to east should proceed along the alternative route in the opposite direction.

A spokesman for North Lanarkshire Council said: “Residential access will be maintained where practicable during the closure period, and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.”
