Carriage resurfacing in Kilsyth will mean temporary traffic restrictions to two more streets in the town.

Road engineers from North Lanarkshire Council were scheduled to start at 9am on Wednesday in High Barrwood Road.

They will work from the east side of the junction with St Mirren’s Road to the east side of the junction from Woodside Avenue.

Edward Street will also be closed from Thursday on its junction with Kingston Road to its junction with William Wilson Road.

Haugh Road has also been shut since Monday as similar works are attended to.

All sets of works are scheduled to be completed by Friday.

No diversions will be put in place.
