SA members join in special celebrations

Nine members of the Cumbernauld Salvation Army Corps travelled to the O2 arena in London to attend The Salvation Army’s International Congress last week.

The Cumbernauld members joined with 15,000 representatives from 126 countries around the world where the Salvation Army currently works.

The five-day celebration was rounded-off with a march by the delegates down The Mall.

This was a special visit by the members of the Cumbernauld Corps as this year The Salvation Army is celebrating its 150th anniversary.

As part of the celebrations the Cumbernauld members will be gathering on Sunday, July 26, when they will be holding a special tea party starting at 6pm to help mark the special anniversary.
