Dundee Rep Theatre is running the Instagram competition ahead of the autumn tour of its hugely successful production of the show.

Two winners will receive four tickets to see the play at a venue of their choice, and their photographs will be displayed at venues in Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness. They will also each receive a year’s subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom. Ten of the best photos will be displayed at Dundee Rep as part of the show’s exhibition, which opens on August 12.

Joe Douglas, associate artistic director and production director said: “The play touches on so many stories, themes and issues across Scotland, from crofting communities to riggers in the North Sea. I’m looking forward to being inspired by some creative photographs from this beautiful country of ours.”

Digital photos should be uploaded using the hashtag #cheviotphoto and reflect Scotland’s historical and/or current political and economic story. There are two categories (12-16 years old and 16+) with one winner from each. The competition closes at midnight on July 25 and will be judged by Joe Douglas and Nicola Young, photographer and communications director at Belgrade theatre.
