Staffing review at nursery
A staffing review will take place at a council-run nursery in Cumbernauld - but no jobs will be lost according to the local authority.
A concerned parent contacted the News and Chronicle about the possibility of staffing cuts at Abronhill Nursery.
A spokesman for North Lanarkshire Council, however, said: “The number of children applying for places in Abronhill Nursery has reduced significantly and we staff the nurseries according to the numbers of children attending.”
