Swim times change bid wrangle

A LOCAL mum has voiced her concerns at proposed changes to the Tryst swimming pool timetables.

A consultation period has been announced by North Lanarkshire Leisure in a bid to increase efficiency, monitor running costs and ensure that the pool is open at peak times.

The current draft of the time table which is up for discussion proposes to close the improvers’ and teaching pools from 9am-12 noon each day.

However, a local mum is concerned that such changes would stop her son, who has autism, from using the pool and is hoping that these proposals do not become set in stone.
