A teenager has been injured after his bike collided with a car in Kilsyth on Friday, September 13.
The 16-year-old crashed into the car on Hamill Road at around 8 p.m.
Police say he remains in hospital with head injuries following the incident.
Meanwhile, police are reminding all bicycle owners to ensure that they wear the correct protective equipment when out and about on their bike.
A police spokesman said: “It is important to remember that the hours of daylight have now decreased as we approach the winter period.
“Always remember to wear protective head wear. Ensure that you have the correct lighting to the front and rear of your bike and check that your tyres and brakes are in good order.
“Fluorescent clothing should also be considered.”
