Thieves raid home then make off with the householder’s car

THIEVES raided a Cumbernauld home taking several items before making off with the householder’s car.

The kitchen window of the property on Whitelees Road was forced open sometime between 2.15pm on Saturday, February 16, and 7am the following day.

The haul taken during the theft included a television, laptop and a set of golf clubs.

Those responsible then made off with the householder’s silver coloured Fiat Punto car.
