Thieves targeting Lanarkshire golf clubs
Police have contacted golf clubs in the area to warn them they may be targeted by thieves.
Several clubs have been broken into across Lanarkshire, and Mount Ellen Golf Club lost a four-figure sum of equipment following a robbery on Monday, April 29, at around 1.45am.
Police have been visiting local golf clubs and offering them security advice to prevent any further break-ins. Witnesses are urged to contact Cumbernauld Police Office on 01236 503900.
