Tickled pink
The dedicated team of cleaners and security were dazzling shoppers in their bright clothes as they took part in the Wear it Pink day last Friday.
As part of the fun, retiring external cleaner, Dougie Wright was locked up in a stock room cage and paraded throughout the centre as the team sought to promote their cause.

Site supervisor Anne Hair said the event went well for the team and they raised almost £600 from a raffle stall outside the News and Chronicle office and taking buckets round the centre.
She added: “Friday was absolutely great. Dougie had a laugh too and we’re all going to miss him.
“He was always the first to offer to do over-time or work holidays, but he’s going on a big cruise now to celebrate which is great for him.”
