Time to nab your nursery place for next year

The local authority says children who will be three years of age on or before February 28, 2014, are entitled to a free part-time nursery place during session August, 2013 to June, 2014.

The funding eligibility dates for the 2013/14 session are children who will be three years of age between March 1, 2013 and August 15, 2013 may start nursery at the start of the new school term on August 16, 2013.

Children who will be three years of age between August 16, 2013 and February 28, 2014 can start nursery the day after their third birthday.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2013/2014 sessions, and forms should be submitted to your first choice nursery or partnership nursery, with birth certificates and current council tax notices produced.
