Woman hospitalised after motorway accident
A woman was taken to hospital following a incident on the M73 this morning.
Emergency services were called out to an incident near Junction 3 northbound shortly before 9am.
The location is not far from the Moodiesburn turnoff and on arrival emergency staff found a car on its side. They closed one lane of the motorway was closed for 30 minutes as emergency workers rescued the woman and took her to Monklands Hospital. Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
