TRAPPED AND SCARED
A COUPLE trapped in a freezing lift for 90 minutes have spoken of their frustration at trying to get help - and their relief when it finally came.
Hugh Henderson (72) and his wife Maggie (61) got stuck in the lift in Douglas House, Allanfauld Road, at 7.30pm on Friday, January 8, one of the cold snap's bitterest days.
Meanwhile the engineer that was supposed to dealing with their problem was arriving at Douglas House in Dumbarton - 28 miles away!
