Trusting teen taken in by cash conman

Sehir Irfan from had saved up for a pair of luxury studded Ugg Boots made by designer Jimmy Choo - but they didn’t fit.

Sehir decided to sell them on website Gumtree – and her ad quickly attracted the attention of a fraudster.

When the man travelled to Cumbernauld to complete the sale, he had the cheek to hand over the cash in fake £20 notes before legging it with the pricey boots in tow.

Now Sehir and her mum have warned others in the area not to be taken in.
