Two attempted thefts on Kilsyth businesses

THIEVES attempted to break into two Kilsyth businesses last week.

Door locks were damaged as crooks attempted to break into Kilsyth Tile Warehouse on Garrell Road sometime between 5.30pm on Tuesday, January 22, and 9.30am the following day.

An attempt was also made to break into Glasgow Animations on Gavell Road at around 1.35am on Wednesday, January 23.

Police say window shutters and a double glazed window were damaged during the attempt.

The crooks fled after activating the intruder alarm at the premises.
