VIP tickets to win for big Warehouse party in Cumbernauld

MORE than 50 DJs will converge on Cumbernauld for a warehouse party next month – and we’ve VIP tickets to win!

The underground rave scene of the 1980s and 1990s meets today’s nightclub technlology as The Warehouse Experiment comes to the former Ice House in the Town Centre on September 25.

Event organiser Stevie Lennon said: “The quote, ‘In order to move forward into the future, you need to know where you have been before’, has fuelled the concept of The Warehouse Experiment.

“Taking inspiration from the parties that sprung up all over the country in old warehouses, abandoned buildings and unusual locations in the late 1980s and early 90s, the Warehouse Experiment will recreate the underground vibe and great atmospheres of back in the day, brought bang up to date with a spectacular show of high-end modern clubbing technology. You can expect acrobats, dancers, fire-eaters, stilt walkers, angle grinders, LED screens, lasers, massive sound systems, C02 cannons and a one-off event not to be missed!”

DJs will include Dave Pearce, Kelly Lorena, QFX, K Klass, Sterofunk, George Bowie, Stevie Kerr and Trevor Reilly, as well as up and coming homegrown talent such as Bryan Love, Stephen Green, Dawson Richmond and Davie Graham. Bryan Love commented: “There will be something for everyone and tickets are selling fast – I’m sure it will sell out.

“With four arenas all offering different sounds, you’re catered for if you’re an 18-year-old clubber or a 30 to 40-year-old who remembers the 1980s and 1990s scene”

Unlike many rave nights of the era, however, this event is completely legal and fully stewarded. The party runs from 2pm until 1am and tickets, priced £20 each, are available from Ticket Scotland at www.tickets-scotland.com, KD Music in Cumbernauld Town Centre or Achray Stores in Condorrat.
