Walk hikes up charity fund
William Purcell has raised a total of £424 for Lenzie-based Deafblind Scotland by tackling the West Highland Way.
And the fundraiser completed the 95 mile walk in five days.

Hide AdHe said: “It was tough, but I enjoyed the challenge. I’m really grateful to the shops and businesses in my home town that sponsored me and helped boost my fundraising.”
Carol Anne McMahon, resources manager for Deafblind Scotland, said: “It’s a fantastic achievement by William. The money he has raised will help us provide vital support to people who are faced with a disability that affects so many areas of their lives.”
